Perfect Petzz

have been a hit with all ages. These furry animals look REAL when placed on the end of a bed or curled up in the corner of the couch. There are a variety of breeds of dogs and ever a few cats (check them out at www.perfectpetzzz.com). Then give us a call or stop by to adopt yours. Currently we have them on special for $5.00 off their original retail price of $39.99 (so they are just $34.99!) If you don’t see the breed you are interested in, just ask us. Our mall store as the best selection but we can always transfer one down to our original historic Maple Avenue location if that is more convenient to you.

Crazy Crayons

Crazy Crayons are hand crafted fun multi-colored crayons that are made from recycling non-toxic crayons into 100s of shapes and themes. It colors just like a crayon because it IS a crayon. LuAnn, the “Crazy Crayon Lady”, has been doing this for 14 years and since April of 1993 she has collected over 34,000 pounds of unwanted crayons! So these crayons are educational”Do it for the Earth” project (since petroleum products take years to biodegrade) , a community service, AND just plain old fashioned fun. We sell both small (1.5″ diameter) and large (2.5″ diameter)sizes. The small ones are $1.50 each or Buy 4/Get 1 Free and the Large are $2.50 (also Buy 4/Get 1 Free). These are for kids of ALL ages except for those under age 3. Themes are always changing but include dinosaurs, teddy ears, flowers, insects, tropical, ocean, western, celestial, leaves, endangered species, zoo, clowns, butterflies, seasonal, southwestern, museum, numbers, letters, fruit, angels, fish, hearts deer, and well….just other things that LuAnn dreams up as she goes along! Find It Games

VIP customer Linda P. gave us a great tip when she introduced us to the “Find It” games. These old-fashioned parlor games are designed to remind you of a 3-dimensional treasure hunt. The object of the game is to see how many of the hidden items you can find inside this tubular game by twisting it…shaking it….or turning it. No using a hammer if you can’t find them all! The game can be played alone or as a timed event with teams. The list of items found inside any game will be found on the top of the end cap and also are listed on a tear off pad (so you can check the items when you find them). The varieties we have on order, all of which are $19.99 except for the Deluxe Edition game, are:

  • Original Edition: This version has thousands of recycled natural colored “beads” as the medium in which to find the 47 items. The items are smaller in size than you’ll find in the kids version and the game is geared to teens and older.
  • Kids Version has 48 items to find within the game. The recycled beads in this game are very colorful and the items contained are “kid friendly” (even containing each letter of the alphabet).
  • At the Zoo is new this year and there are 39 animals to find (plus the elusive penny that is difficult to find in ALL of the games it seems!)
  • Find It At the Beach is new for this fall but we bet it will be fun!
  • The Deluxe Edition is also new this fall and is a bit pricier ($29.99) but a better game for those folks who think they have puzzle games down pat!

LCR Game

Who could believe that just three dice and some chips in a cube could make such a fun game? You need at least 3 players to play this game so gather round some family or friends and let the good times roll. The letters LCR indicate in which direction you pass your chips. So a roll of L-L-C means that you pass two chips to your left and one in the center pot. The last player with chips is the winner. Easy to learn, easy to play and loads of fun. $6.99
